Project overview Turkish Athletics Federation have been started to be a productive part of this project in 2012 and also all seminars are organized by Coordinatorship of Education and Kids’ Games in Turkish Athletics Federation.

Coaches Education and Certification System (CECS), including five level of courses, was operated by IAAF and also training program titled “1 Million Super Kids” is organized based on CECS by IAAF. Standard syllabus, qualified lecturers and the necessary learning support materials are given to the Member Federations for each course level. Turkish Athletics Federation have been started to be a productive part of this project in 2012 and also all seminars are organized by Coordinatorship of Education and Kids’ Games in Turkish Athletics Federation. Until today, 135 seminar organized in different cities. Major point of this Level I CECS seminar in Turkey is known as Youth Coach Education which includes multi-events and event group development. Lessons are informative and theoretical for talent identification and promotion and also seminars are organized by National Federations directly. Because, there is a chance to underline and develop the educational features of youth coaches for Kids’ (7-12y old) Athletics. The aim of Level I is to increase the qualified Youth Coaches by providing a bridge to actual Athletics. The most effective use of resources and ensure the ideal application and activity are critical by the reasons of improving coaches’ competency. Entrance for the Level II is granted to successful and active Level I coaches. Turkey offers wide range of courses like anti-doping, addiction and children, fair-play, physiological differences in training harmony, psychological approach to children in sport and especially “Timeless Values of Athletics”. Although all added courses supporting to increase the awareness level of coaches and designed based on the needs in the field, Timeless Values of Athletics part serves a different purpose. Sharing previous experiences with the participants and having a chance to talk about their successful process can be inspire and motivate them for future. For this part, there is a need for at most 12 early known and successful invited athletes of Turkey who is living in organizing city. Duration of educative organization is 2 days. In this organization, there are children twice as much as applicants to be taught Athletics major movements with games, and competitions with good educative parameters. These applied games are organized based on IAAF’s project in the field. Major point is to be applied the games by youth coaches who are attended the courses. By organizing these seminars in different cities, thoughts about athletics can be changed or reformed thanks to be more motivational, accessible, promotive, enjoyable and educational baseline. FunDamental and general skills improvement is a first step and cornerstone of Long Term Development Athlete. Thus, robustness is critical to be continued. After taking all cources, IAAF and Turkish Athletics Federation proved certificates are given to participated coaches and children to motivate and reinforced their participation.
