Athletics champions to lead Young Leaders Forum

All-time great Sergey Bubka will head a line-up of top athletes scheduled to address more than 100 young people from 46 countries on the values of sport and volunteering at the European Athletics-UNESCO Young Leaders Forum in Barcelona from 27 to 29 July 2010.

Olympic gold medallist, Gabriella Szabo, and former world record holder, Steve Cram, will also be featured speakers at the event, which is supported by B10, the organising committee of the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, and the sports marketing agencies, Dentsu and ECM2.

European Athletics is launching the first Athletics Young Leaders Community at the European Championships in Barcelona.

The European Athletics Young Leaders community is a place for Young Leaders interested in sports and Athletics to meet new people, exchange knowledge, network, document projects they are involved in, find project partners and mentors, and get recognized for their efforts.

Start and document your project and get a European Athletics-UNESCO recognition

July 4, 2010

You can now apply for a recognition by European Athletics and UNESCO for your project. If you want your project to be recognized, you have to start, document and complete your project, meet our Project Recognition Criteria and fill out and submit our End Report questionnaire.
