  • Future women leaders in athletics

    Three weeks ago I worked at a seminar for women leaders in athletics. The aim was to give the 38 participants from 10 countries training and information to help them in their professional careers and increase the number of women in leadership positions such as coaches, clubs leaders, federation officers, etc.

    The seminar was part of a bigger project, which is led by the Royal Dutch Athletics Federation, Atletiekunie, with the support of European Athletics and is called “Closing the Leadership Gap in European Athletics”.

  • Paris 2011 – European Athletics Indoor Championships

    European Athletics biggest event of the year, the 2011 Indoor Championships in Paris is approaching fast. March is only a few weeks away, and from the 4th to the 6th a lot will happen as you can see from the event timetable:


    I wanted to know whether we have some members who will be volunteers for this event…..

  • Quick User Guide to Adding Hours

    Dear all,

    As of today, we have now reached 646 members who have already registered 4435 Hours of volunteering, the equivalent of 111 Weeks or 555 days worth of volunteering!

    That’s a great start and I hope only the beginning,

    Today, I just wanted to cover a few instructions, make this blog entry a Quick User Guide.
    Just before I do so, can I ask anyone who has added some hours to give me their feedback regarding the use of the platform. We are still developing and it would be great to obtain your point of view.
