    Hi, I’m June. I work for England Athletics as a National Development Officer.

    My role in England Athletics is to support the development of Officials, Young People and Volunteers. In England, we are working closely with a range of partners to improve and increase the number of volunteers, officials and young people partaking in athletics. Volunteering is the lifeblood of our sport in England. Without the in fatigable energy and commitment of volunteers across England our sport would cease to exist.   • NEW EA PRESIDENT?? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?

    As many of you know, this Saturday 11th of April there will be a new EA President elected for the 2015-2019 term. The 2015 European Athletics Congress takes place in Bled, Slovenia, with elections to determine the new President, Vice Presidents and Council. Each one of the 50 countries has one vote, and they would determine the new structure.

    A new President will take over Hansjörg Wirz, who lead EA for 16 years!! That's a long time!! There are three official candidates: Jean Gracia (FRA), Svein Arne Hansen (NOR) and Antti Pihlakoski (FIN).

  • Memories from Prague!

    European Athletics Indoor Championships is over. This time I went to one of the most exciting competitions of the year as Lithuanian Athletics Federation press liaison. Seven months after European Athletics Championship in Zurich and EA-UNESCO Young Leaders Forum I had an opportunity to meet some guys with whom I had amazing experience in Switzerland.
